Partners’ Meeting & Case Study Visit

Consortium partners and experts working with WP1 – Desk Research visited Cracow. The purpose of the visit was to verify research hypotheses on the impact of the architecture of power on spatial structures in cities and living conditions of residents.
Researchers visited several places in Cracow: Nowa Huta industrial district with Nowa Huta Central Square, Museum and the Administrative Centre of The Nowa Huta Steelworks Company.
The goal of this study visit was to examine the potential of the Nowa Huta buildings, together with two hotels: Cracovia and Forum. Another important task was to prepare photo documentation of the places that will be used in the WP1 reports and later during the interviews within WP2 and the AI research within WP5. After visiting the places together with the guide, the team had the opportunity to discuss the potential and prepare the conclusions for the further stages of the project.

During this visit the team gathered for a first Board Meeting in the premises of the Institute of Art and Design UNEC. It was a very important time, when all the participants could finally meet each other in person. The team spent a few hours discussing the schedule, plan of WPs and the actions that need to be taken in the course of the project.
