Krakow Board Meeting & Case Study Visit

Partners’ Meeting & Case Study Visit
Krakow | POLAND

How does the architecture of power shape the way cities function and how their residents live? This question guided the study visit in Kraków, bringing together project partners and experts working within WP1 – Desk Research.
Nowa Huta was one of the key focal points of the visit, with Central Square, the Nowa Huta Museum, and the former Administrative Centre of the Lenin Steelworks serving as sites for analysis. The team also explored other buildings, including the Cracovia and Forum hotels, examining their research potential and interpretative contexts.
An important part of the visit was the development of photographic documentation, which will be used in WP1 reports and in later stages of the project — including interviews (WP2) and AI-based research (WP5).
During the stay in Kraków, the first Board Meeting was also held at the Institute of Art and Design at UKEN. It provided an opportunity for the entire team to meet in person and discuss the project timeline and upcoming activities.
