WARSAW

art + design + architecture + AI

Warsaw hosted the final edition of the Creative Research Lab within the unLoc project, where participants explored examples of the architecture of power and its impact on urban space. The team examined both the iconic Palace of Culture and Science and the interiors of key sites such as the Centrum Bankowo-Finansowe Nowy Świat S.A., the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria hotel, and the Ministry of Finance.
The program combined on-site observation with design experiments and reflections on the role of architecture within the community. Analyses focused on the symbolism of urban spaces, collective memory, and the everyday experiences of Warsaw’s residents.
Participants included Anna Tillet, who guided the team through the Palace of Culture and Science, and architect Grzegorz Mika, who led explorations of the city’s urban spaces. Collaboration with the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw brought academic and artistic perspectives, and the Warsaw edition served as the culmination of the entire Creative Research Lab series, highlighting the complex relationships between architecture, power, and urban experience.
