Performing Transformation:
Shifting Landscapes in Art, Science, and Technology
How does our understanding of the city shift when technology meets art and science?
At Performing Transformation, the unLoc project showed that urban space is more than just buildings – it’s also social memory, relationships, and power dynamics. Among more than 30 interdisciplinary presentations, unLoc explored how digital tools and artistic experiments can reveal hidden layers of architecture and inspire new ways of designing cities. The discussions highlighted how changes in economics, politics, ecology, and technology directly shape the way we interpret and co-create urban life.
