AFTER THE PALACE: Resonance – Video Mapping Contest
We are opening an international competition.
Video mapping contest.
The Competition invites artists to engage creatively with the architecture of the socialist era and the unique urban context of Nowa Huta. We are looking for works that explore, in innovative ways, themes of dissonant heritage, the architecture of power, and the identity and transformation of public space.
We invite artists working in the fields of video mapping, animation, media art, site-specific projection, and public space art to submit original, multimedia projects designed for projection onto the courtyard of Building “Z” of the New Administrative Centre (formerly the Administrative Centre of the Lenin Steelworks) in Nowa Huta.
The Competition offers the following prizes:
1st Prize: PLN 10,000
2nd Prize: PLN 6,000
3rd Prize: PLN 3,000
The selected projects will be presented during the AFTER THE PALACE: Resonance 2026 event, which will take place on 23 November 2026, as part of the accompanying programme of the 34th Audio Art Festival.
HOW TO APPLY?
The Competition is international, open, and free of charge. We invite artists, animators, motion designers, and creative collectives from around the world to participate. To enter the Competition, please read the Regulations, complete the online Application Form, and submit it together with a link for downloading the Work.
